Juventus are likely to make a move for Jonathan David in January, despite the player’s contract expiring at the end of the season.

David’s future has been the subject of much speculation, with transfer reports continuing throughout the summer, but the Canadian international has ultimately remained a Lille player. 

With his excellent performance, scoring 8 goals and 2 assists from 13 appearances this season, many clubs are ready to negotiate to acquire him on a free transfer after the end of the season.

But according to Ufabet Sport, Juventus could make a move for David as early as January. With Thiago Motta keen to add a new striker to his squad for the second half of the season.

The situation has been link to Dušan Vlahovic’s failure to agree a new contract. As well as criticism directed at the Serbian forward over his performances.

David’s side will be able to negotiate a move in advance in January, but Italian media outlets believe Lille are not ruling out a new contract and are ยูฟ่าเบท not closing the door on a January sale if the right price is met.

David has scored 28 goals since joining Lille in 2020, and was a member of the team that lifted in the 2020/21 French championship.
